The MachineAssembler will:

Fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools, rivet guns, and welding equipment.
Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer specifications.
Lay out and drill, ream, tap, or cut parts for assembly.
Position and align components for assembly manually or using cranes.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and specifications manuals.
Remove rough spots, and smooth surfaces to fit, trim, or clean parts, using hand tools and power tools.
Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies.
Set and verify parts clearances.
Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
Maintain and lubricate parts and components.
Complies with all Butech Bliss safety rules.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Must possess his/her own tools.
Problem analysis and solving skills that display an attention to detail.
Must be dependable and able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to work overtime.
If required as part of the job, the individual must meet the specific requirements for cab crane operation as outlined on the Cab Crane job description addendum.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to work at varying heights to assemble machinery.
Must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach, push and pull.
If required as part of the job, the individual must meet the specific physical requirements for cab crane operation as outlined on the Cab Crane Job Description Addendum.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED.
Experience in large complex machine assembly.
Experience with overhead cranes and hoists.
Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
