Summary: The Rebuild Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing rebuild and refurbishment opportunities for Butech Bliss coil processing, rolling mill, leveling, shearing, and material handling equipment. This role works directly with steel mills, metal service centers, and processing facilities to extend equipment life, improve reliability, and maximize customer return on investment through rebuild and modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify rebuild, overhaul, upgrade, and modernization opportunities within existing customer facilities.
  • Conduct customer visits and equipment assessments to determine rebuild needs.
  • Grow aftermarket revenue through rebuild programs, service agreements, and repair solutions.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and forecast future rebuild opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with steel producers, service centers, and metal processing companies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor regarding equipment lifecycle management and reliability improvements.
  • Present cost-benefit analyses comparing rebuild versus replacement alternatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, and manufacturing teams to define project scope.
  • Develop rebuild proposals, quotations, and project estimates.
  • Present solutions and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
  • Follow up on quotations and drive projects through successful completion.
  • Coordinate field inspections and equipment evaluations.
  • Work closely with field service and engineering teams during rebuild projects.
  • Monitor project status and provide regular customer updates.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the rebuild process.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends in steel and metal processing equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, automation improvements, and lifecycle extension programs.
  • Provide management with market feedback and sales forecasts.
  • Travel is required 50% of the time.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • 3–7 years of industrial equipment sales, aftermarket sales, rebuild sales, or service sales experience.
  • Experience in steel processing, rolling mills, coil processing equipment, or heavy industrial machinery preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and automation systems is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
  • Strong consultative selling skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and equipment specifications.
  • Proposal development and cost-estimating experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to travel to customer facilities as required.
